Then you need to reposition the light as you read further down the page. The main problem is the periscope. After a few months use, it doesn't stay out when you pull it out. It keeps sliding back in. The clip on lights do not work well. So I was really looking forward to using this item. the battery door does not close! The only way to use it is to tape the bottom with electrical tape and press down on the cover. I have to remove a ton of tape keeping the cover shut and then retape it. It's not easy. Not terribly happy with the fact that the Kindle doesn't want to stay in the cover very well either. Guess I'll use it until something better shows up though.
